Being a parent is the HARDEST JOB you’ll ever have. Progressive Parenting understands this and wants you to know you’re not alone. Mommy Matters Co-Owner and Doula Gena Kirby is your host. Although Gena is not a parenting expert, she is a Doula, a La Leche League International Breastfeeding Peer Counselor and a concerned parent of three children, and as such she understands the difficulties involved with parenthood.
Every Thursday at 1pm she will be inviting doctors, nurses, family workers, authors and experts from different fields to answer your questions. Because this is a PROGRESSIVE talk show, we will broach topics and air opinions that you as a parent might not otherwise hear about through main stream media. The mission of progressive parenting is to inform, not preach, to share not advise, and to connect not alienate.
